embalming class started today. it was ultimately wicked but a little frightening.

we watched a weird power point/ 80's video that walked us through the embalming process. with an old lady body.

she did look much nicer in the end. in the face anyway. but jesus, they did some weird shit to her.

like making an incision in her shoulder and then digging around with their hands for the left common carotid.

or sewing her mouth shut, or spraying her eyes with disinfectant before putting 'eyecaps' in them and gluing them shut.

we get our own bodies on tuesday. i'm pretty much a lot nervous.

i don't want to sew people's mouths shut.

i named the old lady phyllis. but she probably had a name.

p.s. they covered her groin with a cloth in the video. which i found ridiculous. i mean, one day we'll be stuffing it with cotton, i don't think we need to be spared. jesus.

so there's this person i like at work.
and they were showing me how to use the oreo crushing machine the other day, and they cut their hand pretty bad. and i felt horrible.
but i don't feel so horrible anymore.
cause today they decided to juggle knives for my benefit.
i'm not gonna be sad that you cut yourself if you're going to juggle knives.
but it was awesome, anyway.

i worked a double today.
and i'm so tired it hard to focus my eyes.
and two toe nails fell off.
and how much longer can i do this.

on the bright side, school starts on monday.
and i heart school.

microbiology and pathology on monday.
sigh.
i can't fucking wait.

so i decided that whether or not i have sex with someone deals a million more times with how well they kiss than what they look like.

so if i'm dating someone, and they kiss badly, then its okay, we can work on it before i sleep with them.

but if you're a bad kisser, forget a one-night-stand.

we're supposed to see whats in the black box on top of brians cabinet. i'm scared, but at the same time i assume it will be a wicked thing to tell people later. i hope its an arm. the box is kind of arm shaped. but then, who knows.

me and annye are going shoe shopping now. so, thats kind of cool i guess.

maybe i'll start writing in this again. its not like i have anything else to do. my new lame job = no working = no money = i will probably starve to death in the street.
